Promoting kindness for anti-bullying week

During Anti-Bullying Week, young people at Dorset Wellbeing were invited to take part in a creative poster challenge focused on promoting kindness, respect and positive ways of supporting one another.

We were delighted by the number of young people who chose to get involved. The posters produced showed a wide range of artistic styles and ideas, alongside thoughtful and encouraging messages aimed at creating safer, more supportive spaces for them and their fellow peers.

While three individuals were recognised with certificates and a small prize for special achievement, every entry demonstrated genuine effort, creativity and commitment to the Anti-Bullying Week campaign. The standard across our sites was consistently high and each contribution played a part in reinforcing positive messages around respect and inclusion.

Activities like this provide opportunities for young people to express themselves, reflect on important issues and support each other through shared values and creativity. By encouraging these conversations, we help foster an environment where bullying has no place and where every young person feels empowered to be themselves. We are proud of everyone who took part and grateful for the openness and care shown throughout the week.
